Tuber Shipping Policy

Thank you so much for choosing to shop with us! We want to
make sure your experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Below,
you’ll find all the important details regarding our shipping and return
policies, so please take a moment to read through them carefully. If you have
any questions or need assistance, we’re always here to help! 

1. All Sales Are Final
All orders are final once placed. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel or modify orders after they’ve been submitted. This sale is specifically for fall shipping only. Orders will ship weekly on a rolling basis until all are fulfilled.

 2. Combining/Changing Orders
Once an order is placed, we cannot add or subtract items. If you want any additional items not included in your original order, please place a new order. We are unable to combine shipping and reduce charges on separately placed orders.

 3. Cart
An item placed in your cart does not mean that item is reserved. Your order is only confirmed once you complete checkout and receive an confirmation email with your order number.

4. Tuber Packaging & Quality
Each dahlia tuber is carefully selected, inspected, and packed with care. Our tubers are sold as single tubers and packed in wood shavings to ensure their safety during transit. Prior to shipping, we guarantee that every tuber will
have at least one viable eye.

We take great pride in the quality of our tubers, and each one is inspected before shipping to make sure you receive the healthiest options available. We strive to provide high-quality tubers, but please remember that they are tubers from the ground so they come in all different shapes and sizes that will not impact their success.  

5. Performance of Tubers
While we take every measure to ensure healthy tubers, we are unable to guarantee the growth performance of your tubers once they are planted. Weather conditions, soil health, pest pressure, and other environmental factors all play a role in how well your dahlias will grow. Unfortunately, because these conditions are unpredictable and beyond our control, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for tubers that fail to grow after planting. 

It is the grower’s responsibility to create the best possible environment for planting and growing dahlias. We recommend ensuring your soil is well-drained, your plants have plenty of sunlight, and that your growing area is free from pests. 

6. Disease Disclosure:
All tubers are inspected for health, but as a working flower farm, we cannot guarantee they are free from all pathogens. We recommend inspecting tubers on arrival and following best planting practices.

7. Reporting Issues & Returns
We ask that you inspect your package immediately upon arrival. If there are any problems, such as damaged tubers or an incorrect variety, please reach out to us via email sarah@neverlandgarden.com. Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery as verified by tracking. Please include photos of the issue, including the tuber and its packaging label.

We are not responsible for lost or delayed shipments. Any shipping-related issues should be handled directly with the mail carrier. If you notice any delays, please reach out to the carrier and provide them with your tracking number to resolve the issue.

8. Order Fulfillment & Losses
In the rare event that we are unable to fulfill your order due to rare storage loss (e.g. a tuber becomes unviable before shipping), we will notify you right away. You’ll have the option to choose between a replacement tuber of equal value (if available) or a refund for the affected tuber. Don’t worry, if you placed an order for multiple tubers, the rest of your order will still ship, and we’ll make sure you receive the correct products.

9. Fall Shipped Tubers
When purchasing tubers for fall shipping, please be aware that you are assuming full responsibility for their care and storage once your order has been delivered. While we take great care in providing healthy, high-quality tubers, we cannot control storage conditions after arrival. We recommend researching best practices for storing tubers in your specific climate. Temperature, humidity, and handling can all affect tuber quality during the winter months. For this reason, our farm is not responsible for, and will not replace or refund, any tubers that are lost, damaged, or fail to store properly after delivery.​​

Cold Weather Warning:
If you live in a cold climate where temps are below freezing at time of delivery, please consider holding your order or ensuring someone can receive it immediately. We are not responsible for tuber damage due to freezing during transit.

10. Method of Shipping
We ship within the United States only via USPS priority mail. You will receive a notification once the order ships with a tracking number.

11. Local Pickup
Local pickup is available! Once your order is placed, please email us to arrange a pickup time. Pickup instructions will be sent by email, and your shipping charge will be refunded after pickup.

12. Limit of Liability
As mentioned above, the buyer assumes all risk when buying tubers. Once the tuber is past the 7 day mark and/or placed in the ground, Neverland Garden cannot be held responsible for outside factors that contribute to the health and vigor of the plant. Buyers buy at their own risk knowing and understanding this information. Neverland Garden is not required to issue a refund, and is not liable for any monetary value beyond the value of the purchased tuber. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept all terms outlined in this policy.
